Apparently, this is the Canada Day brainchild of Kyle, one of our former art directors, who still drinks with us regularly. There’s no proof he came up with it, but it’s weird enough that we believe him. These ingredients sound pretty disgusting together. But somehow, through the miracle of alchemy and wishful thinking, it tastes pretty damn good.

Recipe

Pink Canadian

Ingredients

  • 1 can frozen pink lemonade concentrate

  • 1 mickey of Canadian whisky

Directions

  1. When making the lemonade, replace the one can of water for the full mickey of Canadian whisky. 

  2. Stir until concentrate has dissolved. Pour into glasses filled with ice. 

  3. Sip smugly while contemplating our glorious universal health care and colour-coded plastic money.
